The rules of the referral program: what counts, how the tiers are judged, and how prizes are awarded.

Last updated 29 August 2026

Draft. Sections 2 to 5 describe exactly what the software enforces, so they are accurate rather than aspirational, and the prize list in section 6 now matches the four tiers on the referral page -- every item is something we already produce, so every tier can be paid out. Still not reviewed by a lawyer.
  1. 1

    Who can join

You must be 18 or over, and legally able to enter a contract where you live.

The program is not open where these terms or the prizes would break local law, and not open to anyone we are barred from dealing with under applicable sanctions.

One account per person. If you run several audiences, they still share one account and one code.

  2. 2

    What counts as a referral

A referral is one person registering for the event through your link. Not a click, not a visit, not a page view. Registration is the event that counts, because a click costs nothing and showing up does not.

Your link sets a cookie that lasts 60 days. If the person registers within that window, the referral is yours even if they leave and come back later.

First link wins. If someone arrives through your link and later through somebody else's, the cookie is not overwritten, so the credit stays with you.

  3. 3

    What does not count

    • The same person twice. Credit is matched on the registering email address across the whole program, so one person is one referral no matter how many links they use or how many times they register.
    • Yourself. Registering with your own affiliate email address through your own link is rejected automatically.
    • Anyone you paid, or promised anything to, in exchange for registering.
    • Registrations from addresses you generated, controlled or bought, and anything produced by a bot or a script.
    • Anyone who arrived through paid advertising that bids on our brand name, or through an ad that could be mistaken for one of ours.
    • Anyone who unsubscribes or asks to be deleted before the tiers lock -- their record goes, and the credit goes with it.
  4. 4

    How the tiers are judged

There are two kinds of tier and they are counted differently.

    • Count tiers are absolute. Ten qualified referrals is ten qualified referrals, and reaching the number wins the tier no matter what anyone else does.
    • Rank tiers are relative. Top 10 and Top 50 mean finishing in the ten or fifty highest referrers across the whole program. Where you stand depends on everyone else and can move until the moment they lock.
    • A rank tier needs at least one qualified referral. Being third out of three people with nothing referred is not a Top 10 finish, and the software will not award it as one.
    • Ties are broken by whoever reached the number first.
  5. 5

    When the tiers lock

Standings are provisional until 8:00am Pacific on 26 September 2026, when the live workshop begins. Your dashboard updates continuously and is not a final result.

We review the standings after they lock and remove anything caught by section 3. That review can move you down, and it is done before any prize is awarded.

Our decision on what qualifies is final. We will tell you why if you ask.

  6. 6

    Prizes

The tiers and what each one wins are listed on the referral page. The prizes are subject to the Giveaway Terms as well as these.

There are four tiers. Top 10 referrers: a one-to-one session with Lucas reviewing your own practice site and booking flow, plus the full Practice Growth Roadmap and the Offer Pack. Top 50 referrers: a VIP seat at no cost, which includes the written audit of your own practice website normally sold at $400. Anyone who refers 10 or more practices: entry into The Complete Practice Takeover draw alongside VIP ticket holders, the full workshop recording, the Patient Acquisition Blueprint and the Front Desk Scripts. Anyone who registers as an affiliate: the Affiliate Toolkit, and the behind-the-scenes account of how this launch was run.

Every item above is something we already produce, so every tier can actually be paid out. Nothing on this list depends on a third party agreeing to appear.

No prize has a cash alternative. We may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original becomes impossible to deliver.

Prizes are personal to you and cannot be transferred or sold.

Any tax on a prize is yours. Where the law requires it we will report the value of what you received.

  7. 7

    Using our name and material

You may use the emails, posts, scripts and outlines in the Affiliate Toolkit as they are, or edit them to sound like you.

You may not claim to be us, imply you are employed by us, or write in a way that suggests a message came from us. Say plainly that you are sharing a referral link.

You may not bid on our brand name in paid search, register a domain containing it, or run an ad that could be mistaken for one of ours.

You may not make an income claim, promise a result, or say anything about what the material will earn someone. If you would not want to defend it, do not write it.

Where the law requires you to disclose that you are being rewarded for a referral -- and in most places it does -- disclose it clearly. That is your obligation, not ours.

  8. 8

    Ending it

You can leave at any time by asking at lucas@jansenlucas.com. Referrals already credited to you stay credited.

We can remove you for breaking these terms, and where the breach is serious -- fabricated referrals, impersonation, false claims -- we can do it immediately and without paying out anything outstanding.

We can end or change the program itself, but not retroactively: prizes already earned under a tier that locked are still owed.

  9. 9

    Your relationship with us

You are an independent participant. Nothing here makes you an employee, agent, partner or joint venturer, and you cannot bind us to anything.

You are responsible for your own tax on anything you receive.

  10. 10

    Changes to these terms

We may update them. The date at the top says when. If a change affects how referrals are counted or how tiers are judged, we will email every active affiliate before it takes effect rather than change the rules under you.
